I'm going to stop you right there. It didn't say that the WiiU is a better system overall. It said it's a better system *right now*. As in, if you're going to buy one NOW, it should be the WiiU. Not because it will necessarily be the best system in the future, but because it's the best one at the moment - yes, because of the year head start. It even acknowledges that.
And Wii U sales *are* up, by the way. By something like 600%.
I mention that because a balanced argument would factor that into it. Why? Because despite all of the "doom" articles - and there are MANY of them - Wii U sales have increased quite significantly, showing that the system is nowhere near dead in the water.
