Why is the Wii U version barely selling? Because it's barely even getting a mention. Here's advertising for the game in general by the Australian retailer, JB HiFi:

That's right, no sign of it. Even on the page that the banner links to, the only mention of the Wii U is attached to the price itself, in small script. The Wii U box doesn't show up.

They had a special on over the weekend, the 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U versions were all on special, $20 less than normal. The banner advertising it didn't mention the Wii U version - the only way to discover that it was also on special was to navigate through the store or search for the game, and look at the price on the game itself.

My bet is that this is happening elsewhere, too. I don't know if it's because of Activision, Sony/MS, the retailers themselves, Nintendo, or someone else, but this is what happens all the time. EB Games released a guide to games, recently, that went through various multiplatform titles, then exclusives by system. In the multiplatform section, it had Batman: Arkham Origins listed for Wii U and the other platforms. Ghosts, however, was listed for everything *except* Wii U.
