I will admit that I did love the shit out of the WII because of the extremely fun games and that especially goes with mario kart wii and wii sports. I won't deny the fact that I like call of duty too which is pretty decent. 
I'm one of the few people who will not categorize dumb shit like "casual" or "hardcore" but a gamer is a gamer.

Yea the whole arguement is really dumb. People use hardcore to replace Niche (Pikmin,Dark Souls,Catherine) and call things casual that are really just wide appeal (COD, Mario Kart). Casual to me is things like Wii Sports,Kinect Sports,Wii Fit, Just Dance...basically just games that non-gamers are willing to pick up and play. Good Luck finding some non-gamers to play COD with you.

People who buy Nintendo's avoid COD like the plague. COD has almost the exact same attach rate on the PS4 and Xbone as the attach rate for Mario on the Wii U, yet Wii U is the Mario Box and PS4/Xbone are the multi-faseted, open world adventure, sports game, FPS,everything box. If it was'nt for COD and GTA PS4 would'nt even exist due to how terrible Sonys 1st party games sell. Microsoft lost so much money on Kinect R&D that they rebranded the new one as Kinect 2.0 and forced people to buy it. These companies are on the brink of failure, meanwhile Nintendo sold so much 1st party software last gen that they have enough money to run for 30 years.
