Too many ads

Flash adverts can be very CPU and/or GPU intensive.
Disabling adverts can save you money by not having your Computer/Tablet/Phone/Whatever other devices work as hard, thus saving on electricity. - If you have a high-end PC, I wouldn't be surprised if we start talking hundreds of watts.

Plus, historically, some viruses, maleware and adware, have travelled via adverts too.
Thankfully all my devices block adverts by default, if forums/websites wan't me to enable it, then they need to make them less intensive and invasive, otherwise it stays enabled.
