Warframe PS4 has received its first title update from Digital Extremes, bringing the free-to-play shooter in line with its PC counterpart’s 11th update ‘Valkyr Unleashed’.

Alien: Isolation concept art leaked recently, and has now been followed by four screenshots from The Creative Assembly’s tie-in.
Bound by Flame story trailer released
Bound by Flame, the RPG in the works at Spiders Studios, has a new story trailer available and we’ve posted it below. Bound by Flame puts players in the role of a mercenary possessed by a flame demon who must choose between the powers offered or keeping their humanity with heroic talents. Bound by Flame will release in early 2014 on PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360. It was announced back in March.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation’s City Critters DLC now available through Steam
Painkiller Hell & Damnation has a seventh DLC pack available to download. Called City Critters, the content adds new levels, enemies and even more demon flesh to destroy.

Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends sold in 38 Studios auction
38 Studios assets sold during an auction conference call include Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends, and associated intellectual properties. The trademark for Big Huge Games was also sold, with gross proceeds totaling $320,000. An acceptable offer was not received for Project Copernicus nor 38 Studios’ integrated social media and gaming platform Helios. Richard Land, the receiver handling the asset auction, stated that he will continue to “engage in negotiations” with interested parties to sell the remaining assets.

Firefly Online heading to Mac and PC during summer 2014
Firefly Online, a multi-user strategic roleplaying game based on the television series, will finally be released during summer of 2014. The news comes from io9 which was given an exclusive look at the game in development at QMXi and Spark Plug Games. In it, players will captain a ship and recruit crew to facilitate trade with other users online and go on space missions. It will be released on Mac and PC. The game is also scheduled for an iOS and Android release. Thanks, GameFront.

The dongs of Rust get censored
First-person survival romp Rust has dongs in it. It probably says a lot about me that this has piqued my interest in the game quite a bit. There simply aren't enough flopping members in our beloved hobby, and that rubs me the wrong way. Get it? I made a masturbation joke.
There are, of course, times when you don't really want to see digital penises, like when you're showing screenshots of Rust to your gran, so Garry's made a slight tweak to this phallic feature, pixelating the exposted genitals by default to save people from fainting fits and to appease Valve.
Rogue Legacy patch brings with it new bosses, a secret class and more punishment
My Rogue Legacy dynasty is filled with short lives and nasty deaths. To say that I'm a wee bit crap is akin to saying blue whales are a bit on the heavy side - I'm an embarassingly terrible hero. The latest patch, coming soon, is unlikely to change anything in this regard, adding new, challenging bosses (not for the faint of heart), more rooms and a slew of other updates, none of which will make my lives any longer.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 multiplayer mod shifts up a gear, trailer is delivered
It’s almost impossible to quite explain why Euro Truck Simulator 2 is brilliant. It’s got all the hallmarks of a bland, generic sim, yet is one of the most compelling driving/management games of recent years. Whilst driving down the rainswept M6 though, a French 80s pop station blaring out your radio, you could be caught thinking “Man, I wish I’d got a friend driving in the next lane, talking over CB with codenames like ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘Broadsword’.”
Turns out that fantasy isn’t so far away. A team of modders have been working on a Euro Truck multiplayer mod, and the first results of their efforts can be seen in this trailer.

If you’ve been enjoying the Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2, you’ll probably have noticed there is a little something missing. The clue is in the continent that you’re currently ransacking: Westeros. Yup, the blood-stained landmass is only the western side of George R.R. Martin’s fantasy world, with the eastern side made up of Essos. This eastern territory is home to the savage Dothraki horse lords and some lovely fashions, but more importantly it’s the current digs of fan favorite Daenerys Targaryen, AKA the Mother of Dragons.
It's time to get very excited, as Dany and her armies are about to start playing the game of thrones thanks to the Essos update. Will she win, or will she die? Well, it depends on how good your strategy is, I suppose.
Minecraft reaches the 13 million copies sold mark

More than double the number of people living in Scotland now own Minecraft on PC. Crikey. That's a lot of abused chickens and exploding creepers. The blocky sandbox doesn't appear to be losing steam, selling a million copies over the last few months, making its early success in 2011 (and before during alpha and beta phases) not a very big deal in comparison.
I attempted to relay this news to my flatmate and his son, who are rather big fans, but both of them were too busy doing weird things with lava and sheep, one on the PC and the other on the phone. Wait... there's shouting now. I believe zombies are attacking. I wish they'd be quiet, I'm trying to work.

Cliff ‘Cliffski’ Harris, the one-man band behind Positech Games, has been suffering at the hands of the mad men recently. Whilst trying to buy some advertising space for his latest political strategy game Democracy 3, he found his attempts to market it were thwarted by the most bizarre piece of policy. The advertising agency refused to use his advert because the banner promoted politics. They deemed the subject too controversial.
Apparently these days politics is considered a more taboo subject than violence. Understandably, Cliffski flared up a little.

Elite: Dangerous won’t be done for a good long while yet - in this stage of alpha it’s been rated merely ‘unnerving’ - but an elite group of Kickstarter backers are already enjoying something that looks and plays an awful lot like it. SteamOS Has Just Been Released
Great news everyone as Valve’s SteamOS has just been released. The client is 960MB in size and can be downloaded from here (torrent link here). According to Valve, SteamOS is a fork (derivative) of Debian GNU/Linux. The first version (SteamOS 1.0) is called ‘alchemist’ and it is based on the Debian ‘wheezy’ (stable 7.1) distribution. Portalarium has announced the first release of Garriott’s Shroud of the Avatar fantasy role-playing game.
