How has Nintendo done with their one year headstart?(Revisited!)

"Nintendo has done terrible with their one year headstart on the wii u."

pretty much says it all. ps4 and xbone have a chance to pass wiiU before the year is out and once that has happened the year advantage is entirely gone.
