Yea, but you should realize those 20 countries XBO didn't sell in, but PS4 did are small. Denmark, Norway and Finland are only 5-5.5 million each in population, Sweden is 10 million, Switzerland is 8 million. Compare that to 330 million of USA, or the 60-65 million of UK, France, and 45 million in Spain. Also, just to clarify, if PS4 had more stock, I don't think it would have done that much better. Maybe 5% better for PS4, and 5% less for XBO (I would assume when some people went to the store to see PS4 sold out, they bought an XBO instead). I think the big thing to take from this though, is PS4 outsold XBO on MS's home turf. PS4 sold better in USA, sold better in UK, and sold better in Australia. I assume Canada too. If Sony can do this, this will hurt MS in the long run, especially if PS4 dominates in EU, Japan, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia |
I highly doubt that. There are some huge exclusive games coming next year for the xbox one that will move consoles. Of course there are alot coming for the ps4 aswell. The xbox one has a bigger space for a price cut. One reason why people didn't buy an xbox one is because of the price and another reason is kinect. I know for a fact when microsoft removes kinect and cuts the price then it will start selling fast. I know alot of people/friends that tell me they are going to wait for a price cut or the removal of kinect. Sony did release earlier and i bet alot of gamers didnt want to wait for the xbox one and bought a ps4 instead. Sony has the upper hand for releasing earlier and at a lower price. Those 2 factors will favor sony from the start and it already is. Xbox one outsould the ps4 this week (based on the charts) even after the higher price tag. (again, price is just 1 reason)
Did you know ps4 only supports a 2.4 wireless signal?
The xbox one supports a wireless adapter capable of 2.4 - 5.0ghz.
The ONLY next gen console to do so.
