Sony can't sell what they don't have - Its a fact you can't get a PS4 anywhere just by walking into a store.
Here you can just walk in and buy a Xbox One everywhere.Still the Day1 editions.
On the other side you have to wait for next year to get a PS4.At some stores not even before march with just "walking in".
We get the next shipment at our Media Markt beginning of next week - Those are still for the people who preordered for launch and couldn't get one.
We are talking about ~ 300 PreOrders at one store alone where people got around 100 units at launch.
As far as i know this is the case for every store here in Austria and im pretty sure Germany too.
If Sony didn't hold back "secret" units to really have consoles on the shelf for christmas you won't get one.
Only negative here for Sony is if people buy their kids or others a Xbox One as a present just cause they couldn't get a PS4.
