Nintendo has tons of new IPs on the Wii; I don't know what the topic creator seems to be getting at. Even if we stick only to first-party IPs, you get a list that looks something like this:
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Wii Fit
Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
Link's Crossbow Training
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (new to consoles, no GC version)
That's six different first-party new IPs that have all sold well over a million copies. In less than 18 months. And the list gets significantly longer if you include third-party new IPs. Seriously, how much more were you expecting?
