That guy is a rip-off of Pliskin from Metal Gear Solid 2.

Yes, clearly, that characterprotrayed by Kurt Russel in the 1981 movie 'Escape from New York' was clearly ripped off a 2001 game.  So is it him or John Carpenter the writer/director that has the time machine?

Also, Russell's character just happens to be named Snake Plissken.  So who is really ripping off who? (or are they open about it.)
