Now, we're seeing the trend of releasing unfinished products with the promise of a patch, dlc for content that should have already been in the final product, and a bunch micro transactions that give us incomplete gaming experiences. Nintendo on the other hand gives us complete experiences on the other hand with any dlc being a bonus rather than an essential part to the game. Nintendo also gives us a complete product on day one and is still willing to delay their products to ensure that.

Wii U wasn't complete on day one...

There are many success factors to the industry.  Delivering great products is important.  Being early/on time to market is also important.

I think it's funny how some see N as being the Jesus of gaming, when the Wii+DS boom was in no small part fueled by games like Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Brain Age, and a lot of Pokemon.  Wii Fit titles sold over ~43 million units versus ~11 million units of SM Galaxy or SSMB.  The top 6 or 7 selling Nintendo games on Wii are really mediocre games.

Too much credit for N for the commercial success they had with ultra casual games.

I would rather play (as in gameplay) Uncharted 2 than anything Nintendo produced in the last 10 years*.

*And I don't mean I don't like any Nintendo games.  I like many Nintendo games a lot too, but I think Sony's 1st party has made some better games.  I'd be more sad if Sony to stopped than for Nintendo to stop, because then there would be nobody to compete on MS level.
