What Nintendo needs to do with Mario is to focus more on the 2D classic stuff, but with NEW content, and not just new powerups. They need new WORLDS, new mechanics, maybe some new characters. Think of the jump from Mario 3 to Mario World. They need THAT kind of a leap to keep people interested. |
this guy gets it. I would take it further and say it needs a leap from Mario 1 to 3, its all tall order, but if they cant do it no one can. What we have been getting is Mario 1-2(japanese version)
