If not, I completely recommend Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. One of my favourite games of all times and easily the most atmospheric and scary. It really is a masterpiece.

I've played all the Resident Evil games :P I didn't like Nemesis as much as 2, but it was awesome!

It touched mature temes, supernatural effects and (if I don't remember bad) prophecies and folcklorical monsters. I remember one situation on which if you didn't run fast enough, your character was eaten alive by a bunch of rats.

Sounds like a Saturday night out in Glasgow to me.
