It's because you're a PC gamer now. PC games look (and run) much better than these "next-gen" first year releases (which is a first, for any generation, actually.) Most XBO/PS4 gamers  seem to be impressed with the higher resolutions and anti-aliasing, both of which are staples of PC gaming. They weren't playing in TrueHD last generation, and not even in "HD-READY", many games were less than 720p. Now they play games in >720p resolutions, and are impressed. Not to say there aren't other improvements right now, but they're very minuscule in the grand-scheme. The argument by console gamers is that with each year games will start to look better, well the same is even more true for PC games. For one, PC's have been well ahead of consoles for a while now, and have been limited by the console position as the main developing platforms. So there is much catch-up that will come by more advanced programming feats, but also when the consoles catch-up to today's performance, PC hardware will leave them behind.

Im an avid pc gamer, and i am still blown away by Ryse. Everyone needs to atleast see it running in person its a technical feat. RIght now nothing compares, but there is one game on the horizon that makes me giddy like a school girl when it comes to graphical possibilities and that's Star Citizen. I am excited to see where graphics are going. EVeryone forgets that you can get much more out of a console than you can with a pc. I always like to reference games like far cry 3, game looks absolutely fantastic on ever platform. yes the console versions are lacking and well all know that they are 8 years old after all. But try and play far cry 3 on a pc with the same specs as the 360. It's impossible, it can't be done. Hell the game probably wouldn't even let you install it. If you did manage to install it and it didn't have a hardware check then you aren't getting any farther than the start screen.
