I read everything you wrote, and what I found was a lack of direction in the OP, except bashing Nintendo for being less and less creative. You have no point to this thread. This is how the OP goes:
Nintendo is less and less creative, doing less and less NEW things with new or old IP's (and this thesis is supported with little evidence, that you have put together without much research), but lets NOT bring the other console makers into this because third parties. BUT, Sony did make a lot of new IP's for the PS3, and so did Xbox as well... kinda. And then you have lots of new next gen IP's that's not coming to Wii U!
Do you notice your inconsistency? What is the POINT? I think it has something to do with new experiences in games, and that you're criticising for not delivering that, and at the same time you try to shelter MS/Sony by saying that they don't NEED to offer new experiences since they have 3rd party support. But then you go ahead anyways and say that MS/Sony offered a lot of new IP's this gen.
I guess you're trying to say that innovation sell hardware? But then again, you implied that Wii had less new fresh ideas than previous Nintendo consoles, so that would counter your own point since it sold the most last gen, and especially if we consider your statement that PS3 got a lot of new experiences but still hardly beat box...
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
