Also, as I suspected, Mario did much better in France and Germany than in the UK. Not only did it rank higher (#4 in France and #5 in Germany vs. #13 in the UK), it did far better numerically in either country than in the UK, which means it did even better relative to market size as the UK is the biggest market in the EU. The Wii U itself also had much better weekly gains in France and Germany than in the UK and is also doing better there relative to market size. The UK doesn't really seem to like the Wii U as much as the rest of Europe. Of course, they've never really been indicative of Europe as a whole, as we saw with the 360 beating the PS3 there instead of the reverse like everywhere else.
