Wow. After the partnership that PS has given the MGS franchise after all these years, Kojima is making, what I'm assuming to be, actual content exclusive to Xbox while all the PS crowd gets is horse armor?

Anyway, this looks amazing. And there can't even be a debate about the visuals: all MGS cutscenes are always in-engine, so this game is going to look ridiculous

Na. Both MS and Sony are getting an exclusive mission.

Sony will be getting Snake skin and a mission called MGS1 Deja-Vu. MS is getting Raiden and the mission is called Jamais Vu.

Make no mistake this is Konami's desperate attempt to milk its fanbase, the super hardcore will buy both version just for the exclusive mission and later on down the line, you can bet both 'exclusive' missions will be availible on the other platform.

Yea, I found out about Deja Vu was more than just a skin after I made this post, but based on the trailer, it just looks like you're playing Shadow Moses again. We got the PS1 skin and Shadow Moses in MGS4 already, so it still seems like the short end of the stick.

On a side note, though, I don't know if Deja Vu would appear on the XBone. Sony may have a 100% exclusive deal with MGS1 or something, like MGS4, which would explain why they didn't make either of those games in the HD collection, and why the Legacy Collection is PS3 exclusive.

And yea, Twin Snakes appeared on the GCN, but the naming may have allowed a loophole with that. We saw the same thing with Ninja Gaiden: Sigma, which would make Ninja Gaiden (no Sigma) still "exclusive" to the Xbox, because Sigma (and Twin Snakes) was a "remake" and not a "remaster". But a straight up HD remaster of MGS1 may not be allowed on a MS platform.
