Where do you get your news? President Obama borrowed more in his first term than Bush did in two terms and he continues to borrow.
He has not improved the state of civil rights. He has violated both voting rights with his attorney general suing and harassing states that attempt to prevent vote fraud. He is being sued repeatedly for violating the religious and civil rights of Americans. It is clear the IRS under his direction has harassed, intimidated and limited the political speech of untold numbers of Americans.
With regard to LGBT rights, he opposed marriage during his first term. He recently changed his mind but only with regard to making it a state rights issue rather than a federal guarantee. He hasn't struck back against insurance companies. Instead he cozied up to them and created a cronistic system where they have guaratneed customers who are mandated to buy their products under threat of imprisonment.
I find it interesting in that when Democrats criticize Republicans, they continually accuse them of turning back the clock on certain groups. Why is this off-limit or "racist" for discussion of President Obama?
