Or those other games didn't deserve those awards and grand theft auto did.
so the game of the year doesn't win all the categories.
This happens at a lot of award shows. It's nonsensical, but the way the world works.
IE Black Keys won best rock album, Bonnie Rait won best Americana album of the year despite mumford and sons being nominated, and Mumford and Sons won album of the year
