Anyone else happy with 3D World commercial failure?

Hell no, it wasn't. It had a significant, fundamental impact on how the game was played.

hardly. Apart from occasional shine sprites that required cleaning up dirt up or the one off boss it was a gimmick to the 3D mario series. No different than the cat suit. You could argue that the cat suit has a significant impact on how 3D world is played 

What about using it to hover? It's been a while, but I could've sworn there were all sorts of jumps that couldn't be made without FLUDD.
