Why is GAF treating Pachters Wii U prediction like its real sales data?

This is how you know a site is popular. People talk about it on another forum.

It's the biggest gaming forum there is. There is a reason why Major Nelson has an account there, Shu imitates their GIF's and insiders from all over the gaming industry post openly and some anonnymously there.

Meanwhile VGC thinks they are terrible.

I actually like GAF.

Actually, I believe VGC and NeoGAF have some of, if not, the best posters on any gaming websites.

However, VGC does something besides running a comptent community, on the other hand, GAF is so popular by just being lucky (and rather restrictive).

Probably the reason I only visit the two and no other site's forums.

Only other gaming site I actively visit is pocketgamer.co.uk
