It looks good and I'll be playing this christmas, but that's not what I expected for a 3D Mario. If I want to reach the finish line, I'll gladly play any of the other 2D Mario options. If I want to explore and collect starts, I'll likely play a 3D Mario. That's all. Not that the game sucks or anything.
