It´s really interesting to read threads like this. It seems to some people Sony can´t do no wrong and when they fail it´s always the fault of someone else. While quite honestly Sony really fucked up spectacularly, that´s highlighted by PSVs hardware sales in Japan where every excuse that has been used in favour of Sony sounds ridiculous since there handhelds have been far more popular than consoles for some years now.

The main problem is quite clear unappealing games and lackluster Sony support for the system.

In my opinion, that's not the problem. There are many appealing games. And Sony did support the system with major system sellers like Uncharted, Resistence, Call of Duty (having their own team making one), Little Big Planet, Killzone, Wipeout, Gravity Rush (becoming a vita game, despite being developed for ps3), Soul Sacrifice, since they no longer had a MH, and even asking the team behind Little Big Planet to make a new ip for the system. It did get support, but lost MOMENTUM. It is not perceived as the cool item to have, like a ps4, a 3ds or an iphone. Just look at 9gag. It's all they are talking/posting about. If there was a clever campain that made people want to have one, it'd be flying off the shelves. Again, just my opinion: games matter far less than people around here believe.

The question is why did it lose momentum. Do you remember how SCEA treated the PSV in its first E3 conference after launch in 2012? Or how they even topped that in a negative way this year?

PSV had a decent Sony launch lineup in quantity and in its first year but shortly after that it seemed like they just wanted to finish the games in production and call it a day.

So it doesn´t really surprise me that all of the games you listed in this quoted post are 1st gen titles released in PSVs first year with Soul Sacrifice shortly after. If we just look at PSVs first year in a vacuum I agree that the lineup is quite decent for the timeframe. The problem is this are games that had been announced for quite some time most even before PSVs launch, even the recently released Killzone was announced back in 2011 and there haven´t been many announcements  in recent E3 etc.. Those 1st year games are of course all valid titles but especially the early adopters like myself actually have played those already and want a constant stream of new games. It also doesn´t help that games like Uncharted and GR are really short games.

People calling Sonys support lackluster are actually looking at Sonys PSV support in its entirety and to most it´s quite obvious that it slowed down quite significantly.
