They really should have showed off a sizzle reel of all upcoming games. It was a good chance to dispel the "no games" tag and make the console look like it had a promising future.
They only reinforced the image of the console having very few games and those it does have being slightly modified versions of older games. Not necessarily true of course, but perception is more important than reality. The man in charge of marketing should know that better than anyone.
