Nintendo first has to release appealing first party games, so that the install base of the Wii U grows.

Then third-party companies should attempt to create content, and advertise correctly.

They're not doomed, we've all seen this before.

The Wii has a bigger install base then the PS3 or 360. 3rd parties never tried.

Wii U has a bigger install base then PS4 or X1. 3rd parties are using the WIi U install base as an excuse.

Of course, the PS4 and X1 just launched. Still I don't think most 3rd parties will attempt to launch their games on the Wii U, especially if the install base don't grow quicker.

And yes 3rd parties never tried out the Wii in full, and the games didn't have a chance against the first party games in terms of sales. Except some party games, and hardcore games that were released very early, like Red Steel and RE4 Wii edition. I think those got big sales because it was before very many jumped ship to the HD consoles, and the Wii was still cool in their opinions.

Yep.
