Nintendo sold more thant 1,2 million consoles on the Black Friday week worldwide, so there´s no point in going software-only right now. This will happen when the console market dies, and it will any day.
on the other side, I do think that they could develop something exclusive for phones and tablets, something different from their consoles games, of course. Breaking new frontiers may be good for them
