Nintendo should be strictly a software company and go enter the mobile market? Why not Sony as well, or Microsoft?

Microsoft might, regardless, because they want to control all devices.  That's how evil they are.  Sony ... I don't know.  Like I said, I could see Japan Studio doing it, but not the rest of World Wide Studios.  It's an entirely different structure from Nintendo and most of Sony's franchises don't really fit.  I could, however, see them acquiring other developers for that purpose.
