So I think the conclusion here is, the XB 360 made new X-Box fans, and these X-Box fans took a few years before they joined forums and fully nerded out.
It's just a coincidence that this "time to mature" happened to coincide with the XBO release. Plus maybe the XBO release made them more vocal.
