GTA IV on 360 runs at 640p natively.

Red Dead Redemption was known to drop FPS to <24 FPS, so while being one of the very few native 720p games, it was still bad on both consoles.

As for Final Fantasy, I think you should refer to the Digital Foundry review, there is a huge difference from PS3 - 360.

As for Kinect, why buy a peripheral I'm going to leave in a box and never plug it? I'll wait for the rumored Kinect free model. Until then I'm going to play Titanfall on my PC, and later buy a WiiU and a PS4 (WiiU first because it actually has some games I'm interested in in development).

I just Googled the native resolution of GTAIV, everything I'm seeing says the 360 version is 720p. Maybe you have a more reliable source?

With your logic, I can point to a game that looks better on 360 and come to conclusion DVD makes better graphics. Just move on, you're a smart guy giving me a dumb argument.

Maybe a year from now you'll be able to get a X1 with Kinect for $399! I'm sure that would be even more to your liking. If you have no interest in X1 period, I don't know why you're even babbling about it.

I'm not saying PS3 games all look better because they are on BR disks, I'm saying they look better. PS3 is a more powerful system, and putting the games on BR disks allowed many games to take advantage of PS3's power.

If you're going to argue that BR is useless then why is XBO using the medium? WiiU is also using some weirld BR like proprietary disk type which is 22.5 GB (I recall them having issues, because it is BR, just not the same disk type as Sony patents)

As for XBO, I'll get it one day because I'm a gamer. All 3 consoles will have exclusives I want to play. XBO doesn't turn me down so much, as Microsoft has, they treated me like crap with the 360. This is why XBO is at the bottom of my list. On the merits of a Kinect free XBO, i see it as a similar quality system as a PS4, but I'm going to take the reliability with a grain of salt, 360 was pretty bad, and I'm not confident that MS fixed the reliability issue on XBO, especially when they had an issue with processor yield during development, and especially because the manufactering process was rushed.
