This comparison is mucked up by European and Japanese numbers. Black Friday is primarily a US thing -- just look at how little the "holiday" affected UK sales this week. DS sales in the US the week of Black Friday in 2007 were about 610k. In 2008, it was about 760k, barely above the 3DS this year. Even if the 3DS is overtracked by up to 100k or so, it's hanging in there with two of the DS's best years. Very good numbers.


I sure hope it's not severely overtracked. That number is so sexy, already at last year's levels in America with a month to go!
