it's a Sony platform in Europe so it is far from beasting. it is OK at most
it is only 3K ahead of WiiU on the PS4's launch week which was supposed to be the Vita's turning point
it is better than nothing but beating consoles that are either dead or cannot compete much in Europe doesn't make it impressive
as for the 3DS doubt the numbers make sense. The 2DS makes 30% of 3DS sales in France according to Nintendo so with tons of sales it was expected to do very well in Europe
