Of course if you're talking Wii U specifically then at the moment everywhere is irrelevant except USA and Japan. Those two countries account for almost 75% of Wii U sales to date.
2013 to date total console sales in UK is about 19.5% of US sales. Wii U UK sales for 2013 is 15% of US sales. That's quite a big difference and is quite a concern for Wii U. Comparing to Wii LTD UK is 21% of USA.
Even more concerning for Wii U is that total Europe sales of all consoles for 2013 is higher than total USA sales of all consoles., But the reverse is true for Wii U, Europe Wii U 2013 sales is only about 70% of USA sales.
If Wii U was selling in Europe in the same proportions to the USA as Wii did then Wii U would have sold 1.3 million units by now, not only 900K.
