Nah, I mean unlike Nintendo which makes lots of money from selling crazy numbers of low budget games, Sony still makes more money from 3rd party games - so 1st party must focus on selling more consoles to drive 3rd party sales.
This is because 3rd party sales are pure profit for platform owners. The platform makes money on every copy sold, even if the 3rd party doesn't make a cent of profit after their development costs.
1st party software has higher revenue per title, but you have to subtract the development costs.
So if they stop making Vita software it will be to focus on more PS4 software.
