As I said before, it makes perfect sense to use Bluray at this point. More storage space is a necessity and its cheap technology.
However, early in the PS3's life it was very expensive and didn't really make 7th gen gaming better, in my opinion.
Sony fans loved trashing Xbox for a being a TV machine, yet boast about PS3 being a Bluray player. Its kinda funny.
