Why didn't Big 3rd Parties give Vita the B.O.T.D.?

The 3ds does have more support from japanese developers but I doubt that if the install base wasn't there, they wouldnt give any support to it as well...

You make a strong point about the Western big publishers. Yet lets talk of the big Japanese ones, SE in particular. SE signed on to do several big 3DS titles before we even knew how it was going to sell. KH 3D and Bravely Default were in the pipeline. Where were these level caliber games for Vita? If we are going to go by how DS and PSP games performed, every SE title did about equal or better on PSP than it's direct DS counterpart. Why not do more of the same for Vita? Instead of stuff like that Vita got Army of Hell from SE................wtf?  Not saying that was a terrible game, but it wasn't exactly what people were expecting and or hoping from SE on Vita. Most of the most desired games from them.......are already made. KH BBS HD Vita version and FF Type-0 Vita release.

The no love for Vita, even at this point from SE, the company who probably stands to be the MOST successful on the console is baffling. It just continues my thoughts that someone at SE no longer likes Sony and spites them at every opportunity it seems >_>

Its interesting how it is the complete opposite when it comes to consoles... SE hasn't given the wiiU a good game ever since the console came out... And SE is making FFXV Exclusive for Playstation and Making KH3 for both PS4 and X1 but not on the wiiU even though KH games have been on both Nintendo and Sony platform...

But K... lets leave consoles to their own thing... FF Type-0 is a psp game that hasn't even been localized for the psp yet... But with that being said... there are several articles that suggest that it is going to be localized for the psp soon enough but you can see why its not even remotely coming out for the vita yet in NA... 

I honestly do think its about the install base rather than the platform. The wiiU doesn't have the install base so they aren't releasing anything on there, the Vita doesn't have the install base so nothing is being released their either... Publisher's go where the money is imo... For all we know, both Sony and Nintendo have made deals with SE to make some games for their respected platforms... I also doubt that if the 3ds didn't have such a big install base, that Bravely Default would have ever be localized
