Well... to be fair... EA, Activision, Ubisoft and the rest are not giving 3ds much support either in terms of third party and it has an amazing install base... They just don't like handhelds... Heck Activision and Ubisoft gave more support to the vita than the 3ds...
The 3ds does have more support from japanese developers but I doubt that if the install base wasn't there, they wouldnt give any support to it as well...
And either ways... the Vita has remote play... what else does it need? /s
