Welp, that's pretty bad.

There are plenty of home consoles that have done worse than the Wii U. A lot of companies entered the market due to the profits that Atari and, later on, Nintendo made. Their consoles got wiped off the face of the earth one after another, including Atari themselves.

But all those are from other minor companies, isn't it? I mean, Atari was big, just as Sega, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft. But what other companies or home consoles? CD-i?
