I think Zelda U is still too early to be shown, and E3 2014 will be the debut of the game, along with a final name. 2015 release.
Also I think Aonuma would be at VGX instead of Reggie if it were the new Zelda game.
I would assume the Reggie VGX reveal will be a new trailer for Smash, or maybe Bayonetta 2
