It's simply more anti Nintendo propaganda in the industry. Pay it no mind. It has been happening since the NES was launched in America in the mid 80s.. And it'll probably keep on happening for the forseeable future. It is as certain as death and taxes..

Its not propaganda. Nintendo is closing off itself to the industry and when the industry moves on without them they call them irrelevant. Why? Because essentially thats what they are making themselves seem like to certain types of gamers.

No one really knows yet where the industry is going.  When 360/PS3 launched the biggest title that sucked people in was Guitar Hero.  Now its Call of Duty. In 6 -7 years it will probebly be something totally different.   Battlefield 4 (3.5 million combined) is selling horribly compared to Battlefield 3 (13.5 million combined), which is why gamestop was trying to give them away for 25 bucks on Black Friday.  COD has already peaked as well...MW3 (26.5 m.), BO2 (23.1 m.), Ghosts (10 m.).   I will give PS4 and Xbone their great launches but if they keep relying on FPS's then their sales are going to bomb eventually.     Gears of War is already dead. Killzone 3 only sold 2.5 million.   I can go on and on, but the era of the FPS is coming to a close sooner rather than later.  Nintendo just needs to keep doing what they do.
