Well at the end of the day, as a consumer it shouldn't make any difference to you if the Chinese do decide to corner the market, you will end up winning, as a board member for the companies producing the tvs its just unfortunate. Competition always breeds innovation and fairer treatment of the consumer, ala the example of ps3 v ps4, Sony learned that they can't bend people over at such a high price point and get away with it seeing as there is a direct competitor now, and we are all the better for it.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
