Is spam allowed in people's sigs? Where is the line drawn?

Thats exactly right. It earns me referral points. People are not forced to click on my signiture by any means so I just dont see what the issue is. I could care less about people bets they've made with other users and what the outcome of those bets were, or If they got there predictions correct or not, or what there cat looks like (even when it has a hilariously cute caption). Why are those not classified as spam?

A laugh perhaps.. what it doesn't provide skip is a way to take advantage of other users for skips own benefit, unlike the purpose of referal ads in sigs..

if vgchartz had a referal system, which was carried out via the banners that people put on other forums, i'd agree that its sig spamming to put vgchartz in your sig.. but the fact is, the user gets nothing for putting vgchartz into their sig, unlike your sig, they are just giving other people the opportunity to learn about this site without getting anything in return as a result..

i'm willing to bet you would never put this in your sig if it didn't include the referal tag at the end of it, and to prove me wrong, you can remove the referal tag from the link

I dont wish to prove you wrong because your 100% correct. I would definately put some other picture or quote in my sig it I didnt recieve the referal bonus from my current one. People have a choice to sign up for the site if they choose to after clicking on my link. Im willing to bet the 99% of the people that click on my link choose not too. Its not like by clicking im my sig you get signed up for anything.
