I agree with this, muchly.
Nintendo has 7000 employees. It couldn't cost them that much to put a small team on Virtual Console. Get everything that was available on the Wii VC on the Wii U VC for a start, ASAP. Adding off screen play and Mii-verse support can't be that complicated. I know people have argued that this potentially takes focus (and resources) away from new games but I don't for a second think that the same staff (and skills) are required to port virtual console games as those that makes games like Supe Mario 3D World.
Secondly start getting some N64 and GC games on there. GC has some great, underplayed and underappreciated gems, give them a second chance. WiiU is completely backwards compatible with the Wii which is based on the exact same architecture as the GC. Getting GC games running should surely be a piece of cake.
These are the kinds of things we shouldn't be waiting several years into the console's life cycle for, they should have been there from the start.
