The Wii U just outsold the PS4 this week. By 15% The PS4 is only in its second week on the market and the Wii U--the dying Nintendo gen 7.5 console--outsold it in its own sales honeymoon.
We've seen enough gen 8 launches now to know that sales tanking after launch is an industry-wide phenomenon. Nintendo is actually doing very well compared to their competition. It just doesn't look that way because gen 8 has turned out to be nothing like gen 7 or gen 6.
