#38 - One of the only games where they managed to make a proper 4th installment on a trilogy that ended very conclusively. I.i. it's the 4th game in a trilogy. The enemies in the game are a type of parasite which spread uncontrollably because the enemy type in the games name have been erraticated. Very highly rated franchise.

The key point in mine was "franchise". In other games, the power-ups were simple, in this game, they were a bit weird due to mix-and-match

38: Metroid Fusion

#38 - You nailed it, Metroid Fusion was the 4th game in the original Metroid Trilogy, a trilogy where all the Metroids died by the end of Super Metroid, thus ending the trilogy fairly conclusively. The enemies in this game are that Parasite which the Metroids ate on their home planet, and yea.

Metroid typically out rated Halo, MP1 honestly did have a 98 before, Metorid 4 > Halo 4, and Zero Mission>CEA. MP2 and MP3 didn't top their respective Halo's though, but it's still a damn good franchise.
