You're missing the point. A small budget new IP with terrible reviews just charted above one of the biggest IPs in the industry, at launch week, in a large territory.
Admittedly, Mario games are reknowned for their legs, but still this is incredible.

UK isnt a large territory for one. WiiU is selling like crap in the UK, so being a big ip hardly matters. Mario games arent known for big launch weeks anyway. This is just fans looking for something that isnt there. This isnt impressive because it will be lower in lifetime despite a much higher selling platform.

In UK yes. Im not sure what to think about globally. Ninty seems to not care about home consoles. So theres no telling what will happen.
