Super Mario 3D World - We need to talk about this.

I completed the game (credits roll) this weekend playing 4-player co-op with wife/kids from start to finish. Were only two levels where I gave up on co-op and just did em solo but rest we all managed to make it through.

I looked at lives lost on the save-file after the credits rolled and it said 817 lives lost. I had no idea we had died that many times... wow

So the good thing about Super Mario 3D World is that even though you fail a lot, it never makes you feel bad and it doesn't try to block your forward momentum/progress. There are much harder levels and challenges after the credits roll but at least it allows majority of players to make it to the credits if they are just playing/having fun.

Is it better than Mario Galaxy? For me and my family... easily. I mean 4-players AAA game is worth lot more to us than a 1-player game.
