You have to understand that Maxim is not a legitimate review source. Just last month, on the Avril Lavigne issue, their music review department was called out twice for reviewing two CDs that weren't publicly available for them to hear, the new Black Crowes and Nas albums. They were called out by both parties because both albums were reviewed poorly without even a listen. Advance copies were not given out to the press because of pirating issues. I'll actually put good money on Maxim having not played Brawl yet and just wrote a review based on previews for the game. They're becomming notorious fo pulling shit like this. If you notice the kinds of games that get good scores in their mag, it's usually very testosterone driven sports and shooting games. They don't even usually review games as tame in material as Brawl. Reviews are written in Maxim for off the wall dialogue that is meant to get a chuckle out of people, nothing more. With that said, I thought the review was pretty funny, especially the first sentence.
