Not really. The Wii U drought was big not because of its general lack of games, but lack of notable and highly anticipated titles. Between the holiday launch "window" and the release of Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101 (a span of nearly 9 months), the Wii U had hardly any notable releases except for Lego City Undercover and a port of MH3.
In the first 3-4 months of '14, XB1 and PS4 will be getting games like Thief, Watchdogs, Titanfall, Elder Scrolls Online, Infamous Second son, etc., and within the first half of the year will be getting even more highly anticipated games like Destiny and potentially Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes if it doesn't get delayed.
