Be a professional and put the needs of the platform/business above your creative fetishes. A realistic style should in no way limit your ability to make a fantastic game or create a lot of surprise. 

But that's a dangerous path to start down. The last thing I want is for developers, especially those at EAD, to start catering to the lowest common denominator. We have enough studios already that do that.

I don't really care what the next game looks like -- I'm sure it will be great no matter what -- but I would much rather risk lower sales and have Aonuma and company stay true to their artistic vision, whatever it is.
