"Newcomer's Introduction Thread"- What brought you here?

Hello VGchartz:

I've been visiting this website since 2007, but I never decided to join it until now. I used to play on Nintendo consoles while growing up as a kid, and switched to Sony later, but I still have my respect for Nintendo. I'm not the most hardcore gamer in the world, but I'm definitely not a casual one. I prefer TPS games over FPS games but I have some exceptions. I just got my PlayStation 4 through a cosplay contest and I can't wait to play it.
